Effective 28 April 2017, the Wieland Group, Ulm, Germany, (“Wieland”) has acquired all assets owned by Wolverine Tube Inc., Decatur, AL, USA (“Wolverine”) related to the business of manufacturing and selling integrally finned and enhanced surface tubes from copper, copper alloys and steel alloys.
“In line with our corporate strategy, this acquisition is another important step on the way to expand Wieland Group`s international market position. It allows us to strengthen our portfolio of high-end, technically differentiated businesses“, Dr. Erwin Mayr said, Chief Executive Officer of the Wieland Group.
